Resident Evil - The Awakening is the first chapter of a full blown remake of Resident Evil in the Half-Life 1 engine. While that sounds less impressive today because there are a lot of great modders out there and some are even making better things than the games they are modding, it was quite the feat and quite the sight to see back in the late 90's when this thing launched.
