Finally, my first speed run in the RE franchise. This is my first attempt at a speed run in any game ever, minus Metroid, and it's kind of hard to believe because of how many times I've beaten all the RE games and RE2 especially. I've probably played through RE2 300+ times, and never attempted a Speed Run. I've beat the game quickly, but never had a goal to beat it as fast as possible. So here we go.

There have been no tests of this speedrun before this video. This is my first attempt, as I said. I have not read any Speedrun Guides of this game, using only my knowledge of the game to judge what I'll need to finish this.

I use Claire because she's my favorite RE character behind Rebecca. Rebecca will always be my favorite.

Unfortunately, my controller is not that good, as you can see me swerving around a lot and screwing up the controls. That's why this was cut short to six or so minutes. I decided to just use my Keyboard to control...which will cause more problems in Part 2 as I need to get used to played RE2 on a keyboard. But that's okay, as this is more of a practice speed run than anything. I can always improve. I just need to practice the keyboard with RE2 more.

Also, my intro has changed just for fun. Probably won't be permanent, as I love the original, but just a fun change. There'll be other changes if the music fits in later challenges.
