Fans will know of the story but if you're new to the series, Resident Evil 2 takes place in Raccoon City, which has been overrun by zombies. You step into the shoes of rookie police officer Leon S. Kennedy who, along with college student Claire Redfield is trying to escape this place. What transpired after a deadly virus outbreak is horrifying and you get to experience it all on your iPhone.
It was originally built on the RE ENGINE, but this new version reinterprets the 1998 classic in a much better way. Enhanced graphics, immersive audio, and streamlined controls all bring Raccoon City’s scary atmosphere back to life. You can also take advantage of Universal Purchase and cross-progression, which allows you to continue your journey seamlessly regardless of the Apple device.
Plus, RE2 comes with numerous new features and improvements designed for devices with a smaller form factor. The new Auto Aim feature has been created specifically for newcomers and it will fire at enemies automatically after a short delay once you aim at them. Of course, you can use a controller if you prefer and is probably the better way to play.
