A video showing the partial stealth playthrough for the village farm in Chapter 1, the goal is try and defeat as many enemies as possible without been detected. There are a number of areas in Chapter 1 where it is possible to get through with stealth. But, you may not have enough durability on the combat knife to stealth attack all the enemies. There is also no way to repair the knife. If you want to get pass the village farm with stealth, it is better to avoid using the combat knife in earlier parts of the game.
The Brute that breaks the door in the farm will always bee able to detect Leon, you cannot hide form him, the only way to stealth attack him is to use the trick with resetting enemy positions by saving and reloading the game. The villagers which spawn after the Brute are not consistent because they can be attacked by the farm animals, and this can change their movement path and orientation. The strategy shown here only works sometimes.
