Resident Evil 7 VR Mod | Gameplay Test | Oculus Quest 2 Airlink
17Welcome back to the channel,here's my first gameplay test on RE7 with Praydog's VR mod....to be quite frank,the stereoscopic 3D visuals are excellent,in my opinion,I would say it looks the best so far,even better then RE2 and RE8(made a gameplay video of that already,it's uploading as I type this)There are issues though with this game when using the mod....as you know,touch controls aren't implemented yet so you're stuck with either using a gamepad or mouse/keyboard.As you know,I personally don't like using a mouse and keyboard which is strange considering I'm a PC gamer but I mainly grewup on playing console games etc so that's what I've grown accustomed to....anyhow,when using an xbox controller while playing this in VR,the camera angle seems to be lopsided and the aiming is completely off,the main protaganist seems to have a fixed aim at the floor,the aiming reticle doesn't correlate with where you think you're aiming at when you discharge his weapon....also your height is too low and you feel like you're a 5 year old etc the headset view is literally right above Ethan's crotch....I mean I like Ethan and all but that's alittle way too close for comfort for me...no offense Ethan...anyways,the game does look superb though and I'm pretty sure the issues will be resolved soon,props to Praydog for all of his hardwork....as usual,a link to his mod and Patreon is provided down below....enjoy the video:-)
