1. Go to Manage Optional Features. Ensure that Windows Media Player is installed. If its not click on Add New Feature. Then Type in Media and install Windows Media Player.
2. Similarly. If you are using a Windows N edition of Windows 10. You can check under Optional Features for a Media Pack. Which contains things like optional video playing codecs for your computer.
3. Install K-Lite Codec pack. An open source free pack of Media Codecs to play every video file type known to exist.
