Resident Evil (GCN) Intro | VHS Recording Test
0The original file was recorded from an emulation of the GameCube. It was then transferred onto a USB stick and connected to the Xbox 360. The Xbox is fed into a VHS via composite cables.
The composite recoding is just the signal coming from the Xbox back into the computer via capture device. The VHS, however, was recorded onto the tape and then captured back.
It's interesting how good a tape can really look. But it's all based on source, age, and wear!
I tried this once before, but with worse results. (https://youtu.be/HGn2ZNrLiTY) Also as a side note, I meant to upscale the video to 1440x1080 but I accidently upscaled to 1920x1440 so...whoops, I guess you get 1440p!
