Restoring an Original 1989 Nintendo Gameboy DMG-01

34Refurbishing a Nintendo Gameboy DMG-01 from 1989. This one required some cleaning as well as hydrogen peroxide treatment to reverse the yellow UV stained plastic, a process also known as retrobright. The screen had some dead lines which I fixed up with a soldering iron, unfortunately I wasn't able to do anything about the horizontal line. Also, I made sure to give the mainboard and button contacts a good clean with isopropyl alcohol, and topped it off with a new glass screen lens.
