Retro Classics : Ghosts 'n Goblins (1985)
4The 3rd in the retro collection, Ghost 'n Goblins, from Capcom.
Again, the short introductory commentary gives an overview, but this
was one of the first side-scrollers that introduced gorgeous, cute
graphics as well as a really fiendish level design... to the extreme.
Also remembered, the music in this was superb, so much so that they
copied some of it for its later incarnation on the PS2 for Maximo.
In the arcades, you could ALWAYS hear this game, as the map screen
(after each death) accompaniment music was always significantly louder
than the rest, and almost always louder than neighboring machines.
