Streets of Rage is a side scrolling beat-em-up published by Sega in 1992, It is known in Japan as Bare Knuckle II: The Requiem of the Deadly Battle.

The story basically is something about Axel and Blaze having moved away and the Syndicate followed them and waged out war.

Gameplay was improved slightly from the first game however the improvements kind of hamper the game and take away from what the first one was. The first SoR was a bare bones basic brawler while this one adds more but my view is that more isn't better in this case.

Still a solid game and worthy of a 8/10.
