Omega Boost is a mecha action shoot-'em-up developed by Polyphony Digital for the PlayStation in 1999, where we go on a time-travelling crusade against the vengeful AlphaCore.

Compared to Polyphony's Gran Turismo series - by fair their more notable and, in fact, system-selling games - Omega Boost has very little buzz around it, and is consigned to being a relatively quiet blip on the PS1's radar.

That being said, how influential was this game? Why hasn't there been a re-release of this game? And - most crucially - is it worth importing?
