#WipEout #ワイプアウト

WipEout is a futuristic racing game, developed and published by Psygnosis in 1995, and releasing on the Sony PlayStation, Sega Saturn, and DOS computers.

It is a high-octane romp in anti-gravity race crafts as you battle your way through the competition to claim victory in the F3600 Anti-Gravity Racing League, and become its champion.

It sold very well in Europe, owing to its style, provided with assistance by the Designers Republic, and even though the splash it made overseas wasn't quite as massive, it still holds a place as being one of the most inspired gaming series out there.

So then, just how influential was this game? What did Psygnosis bring to the table that others didn't? And is it worth importing...?
