Retro PrePlay 32 - Braid

In these 15-to-30ish-minute videos, I'll take a quick look at the games we'll be playing together on each upcoming episode. That way, if you can't play along for an episode, at least you get a little taste of the game in video form, plus a bit of commentary for you history or game design lovers out there.
Coming up on the next episode of the podcast, it's a game I loved when it first came out in 2008. Even though it's a newer Smashing Bricks game, it feels more retro than it is because it was an Xbox Live Arcade game, which tended to have a retro angle to them compared to the games of the era. This time-bending puzzle-platformer, Braid, actually had an Anniversary Edition re-release earlier in 2024, so feel free to play whichever version is easiest if you're playing along with this month's episode!
