retro problems with Elgato game capture HD device.

So I've noticed some of my earlier game captures of retro games have a slight brownish green tint to them...

it's something to do with my capture device.

It's like I have to goto picture settings and adjust the slider for any of the settings and revert them back to their original state in order to "wake up" the picture settings.

Bug in the software ? Everything seems to be updated regarding software.
