Description:
After the events of the previous game, Rean is now a reluctant war hero for Erebonia's expansionist policies. After a mission in North Ambria, Rean is assigned to be an instructor at Thor's Branch Academy, where he has to teach a new Class VII while enlisting their aid in dealing with Erebonia's era of upheaval.

Agate will join the party for this mission. Along the way, you'll be attacked by archaisms, but they shouldn't be too much of a threat. At some point, the party will pick flowers to pay their respects later. They also notice some of these flowers were already picked.
22:51 Paying Respects to Loewe
Agate tells the party the truth behind Hamel's destruction, that it was a false flag op. As you make your way further, you'll see Duvalie and Shirley placing flowers at Loewe's grave, and they give the party a chance to do the same. Afterwards, they start their fight in the large area near the orbment charging station.
34:16 Boss: Duvalie and Shirley
The two of them are backed up by three minions. You have a lot of ailments to worry about, but freeze and deathblow are the most important to resist with pendulums. Since you're up against so many fast enemies, you'll want to activate Fie's Brave Order, which speeds up the party and gives insight. I managed to take out Shirley first, leaving Duvalie to enhance herself. Fortunately, Elliot's Brave Order prevented her from seriously damaging the party, allowing my party to safely whack her to death. Yes, I bullied Duvalie.
47:13 Reinforcements From Both Sides
Shirley is annoyed that Rean is still holding back and attacks once more. Garreth, Ines, and Ennea also show up to back up the Ouroboros team, pitting us against five elite opponents. Then they get ambushed from behind by a Drakkhen (Ash) and Class VII. Unfortunately, Ash is then punted across the map by Aion Type-γ II, the same kind of Aion that defeated Pater-Mater.
Ouroboros apparently wants to test this upgraded Aion out. I'm guessing at least part of their reason for attacking the branch campus is to bait Rean into chasing them, and them use him and Valimar to test out their Aion.

During the first phase, you control Valimar without any subcontractors. Fortunately, he regained his ability to use Spirit without one and can even use Charge. Once you lower the boss's HP enough, the second phase will start with Drakkhen (Kurt) joining in. The Aion will now be much faster, so unlike me, use Altina to debuff its speed. If you don't, it will be harder to defend against its rapid onslaught. Additionally, Morning Moon won't protect against its AOE attack, so make sure to guard for that one. I had to cut out some footage because of my inefficient strategy, and the sequential nature of this battle discouraged me from retaking the footage.
Unlike me, don't feel bad if you need to use a Repair Stone. In the next chapter, you can exchange U-Material for them.

The Aion doesn't get a chance to use plot stamina, since Jaeger King Rutger Claussell pilots a purple Divine Knight and wrecks it with his Buster Glaive. Yes, Fie's adoptive father, though to have died in a duel with War God Baldur Orlando, is somehow back from the dead. I guess Xeno and Leo weren't kidding.
1:25:45 Going Back Home
At this point, Old Class VII has to leave the party, since they have their own matters to attend to. Fortunately, they leave all their gear behind. Meanwhile, Agate is worried about Tita's safety because of the Branch Campus's conflict with Ouroboros, causing the girls to squeal over his potential romance with Tita. Hope you got 67 AP at the end of the chapter.
