Returnal Benchmark with a Lower End AMD System.
1Hi everyone, I have been playing with a few of the games that playstation are releasing on PC, alot of the time it wants to default to 720 on my system like Days Gone, Spiderman Remastered that never came up but they had all suggested Medium Graphics. So I had a play, yes pending on your card you can push it alot more than what they suggest.
So on Returnal, Instead of medium I cracked the basic settings up to Hight 1920x1080 with my Elgato 4k60s+ passthrough to my monitor recording on SDcard.
I also turned some of the settings onto epic as well. So you can see the results are not Amazing.. but they work and play fine.
Drop the shadowing and it makes alot of difference to all the newer games. I cannot even play Halo Infinite with my system and rely on most my recordings being done on the Xbox Series X with Keyboard and Rat plugged in.
My system Specs.
AMD Ryzen 5 5600+
AMD RX 580 8GB
32 GB DDR 3200 Ram
1tb SSD & 2tb NVME and a few big Spinners
I hope this video makes its way to people that have the older systems and are worried it wont work at all... I do not get the highest the highest in FPS but its not jerky at all so very enjoyable still. With the Elgato I it is locked to 60fps anyway which is quite comfortable with the Series X even at 4K recordings
