'Reveal Thyself, Destroyer,' because I need the ability to get Tempered Glimmerpelts
this fecker is going to show up as an extra in investigations now. i've seen it happen to others.
EDIT 2 : You know, I've had a bit of time to think it over. The Shara Wind Cannon being avoided by coincidence is probably why it was satisfying to pull it off each time, like two forces of nature just doing their things, one an attack and the other an evasive maneuver, and it just... works. It's nice.
My thoughts on Leshen haven't changed because it felt like a direct counter and a "fuck you in particular."
This Rajang hunt is one that I ended with a headache, but I look back on the Perfect Guards and I think, "Damn, I could do that again."
EDIT 1 : The rather crude joke regarding Lance being the 14th most popular weapon literally comes from the game.
Sometimes when you encounter a First Wyverian, they'll say something along the lines of "Most people choose the Long Sword, and few choose the Hunting Horn. Your weapon (lance, not said) is the Nth (14th, said) most popular weapon to hunt with."
14th out of 14.
I genuinely believe Shara Ishvalda's Wind Cannon being avoided by a side-ward dash charge is a coincidence, much like slaying a Leshen with Geralt's thunder-element high-rank lance is plausible due to the unyielding framework of "Hit monster, subtract its health (after damage calculation)."
Chip damage is rougher when you can't dodge, only block. That, because of Rajang's attack frequency and the amount of recoil (even while having Guard 5), is why I've refrained from completing 'Reveal Thyself, Destroyer' until I had no other choice.
