What would happen if you played every video game in the world, and then had to sort them into 10 EVENLY-SIZED piles, with the least fun games in Pile 1 and the most fun games in Pile 10? That is essentially my rating scale; one 10-point scale to rule them all. It is useful for those who like to purchase games from multiple systems, both old and new. Additional details: I only rate games I have played thoroughly. The historical impact of the game is not a factor. A 10 does not mean perfect (no game is), it just means the game is in the top 10% in terms of fun. Zero isn't used.
