0MU Origin 3 Review. Just a few months after the new Diviner class entered the Southeast Asia server of MU Origin 2, the mobile MMORPG was once again updated with brand new gameplay features yesterday including the marriage and the cross-server Abyss Domination among several others. There is something for new players and veterans! We take a quick look at these cool new features below, and be sure to give MU Origin 2 a try if you haven't already!
• Player marriage system
Otherwise known as the couple system in other online games, it basically allows 2 players to be linked in-game for various bonus effects and other benefits. Both players will have to wear wedding rings!
• Domination of the Abyss
This is the new PVP mode where alliances (or guilds) compete for control of territories! It's very simple: the alliance that captures and holds the flag of the specific territory for 3 minutes occupies the field. Defend the flag for the duration of Abyss Domination and the alliance guards the land and reaps its bounty until the next event! Exclusive mounts and titles also await the winners. There are 3 grades of territories (CBA) and the alliances will have to start from C before going up to A which holds the most treasures!
• Divinity system
This is a new feature for high level veteran players. Basically, it's a passive system where stats are added to further strengthen the characters. Leveling up requires "Ki", which can be obtained either through specific items or by exchanging experience points. The total Divinity points will determine the character's Divine status, such as "Oracle" as seen in the image below.
• Grading system by glyph
Glyphs are similar to runes equipped to characters to passively boost them. With this new grading system, up to 3 similar glyphs of the same type and at least orange quality can be merged into one powerful red quality glyph. The main orange glyph will absorb the level and additional stats of the 2 sub-glyphs (these 2 sub-glyphs must remain at +0), and sometimes even give new exclusive stats during the ranking process!
• Judgment of the gods
Also new for high level players, Trial of Gods will test even the best characters with 10 levels of boss raids. A single player daily event with no challenge limit, a huge amount of Spirit Power and Astral Gems can be obtained after killing each boss.
• Enchanted Costumes
Character costumes, which change the appearance of characters, can now be enchanted to randomly gain bonus stats. However, it seems the enchantment is permanent and there is no way to re-roll for better enchanted stats.
• Bounty Bonus
Possibly the ultimate monetized feature for "busier" MU Origin 2 players, the Premium Bonus allows them to quickly complete daily tasks with a single tap (several taps in fact) without having to manually control any actions.
