I have purchased PCI Ethernet and USB 2.0 cards for my 1999 Pentium 3 500MHz computer. I was able to test the usability, now it has an Internet connection, and I have to say its awful. The issue is mostly due to the system being starved of Memory, as it only has 256MB of RAM.
