Full Tip:
Any time you either right-click an enemy unit or even attack-click on an enemy unit, Misha will switch her attack target. Whenever Misha goes into attack mode, she will automatically target whatever enemy Rexxar is targeting. So, people understandably think that, outside of automatically chosen auto-attacks and abilities, Rexxar and Misha must attack the same unit. That's not true, though. You can wield more control over their attacks, if you want to.
You can make Misha and Rexxar attack different targets easily:
Either right-click or attack-click on the target you want Misha to attack.
Move Rexxar by right-clicking on the ground (Misha won't follow you while she's attacking a target). Attack-click the ground and Rexxar will begin attacking the nearest targetable enemy. If you want Misha to switch targets, right click on the target you'd like her to hit. If you want Rexxar to switch targets, re-position him and attack-click the ground again.
Now, as far as I can tell so far anyhow (someone please correct me if I'm wrong!), you can't get super fine-grain control over Rexxar's target without having Misha also attack that target. You can only have him attack the target nearest him. But you can precisely target Misha's attack and then be sure Rexxar attacks a different target (which you can indirectly choose via positioning).
