Milestone have announced RIDE 5, the new chapter of the two-wheel racing simulation videogame.

RIDE 5 introduces a new career mode for the first time in the series, featuring a narrator who will guide players through their riding journey and introduce events. The career mode includes four main racing bundles, and players must complete various events in each bundle to unlock the next one. A leaderboard tracks progress, and the mode also includes 10 rivals with unique personalities, backgrounds, and aesthetics, adding competition. Players must beat their opponents to reach the top of the leaderboard, and over 200 playable events are available, including a set of secondary challenges to complete the career structure.

Endurance races now support in-race save and rewind features to grant more control and flexibility over the gaming session, while the single-race and time-trial game modes will be the perfect places to refine riding styles, get familiar with the different bike categories and push performance to the limit.

Graphic improvements include a Dynamic Weather System that will generate realistic weather changes during races based on real-time calculations of track and air temperature, as well as a new Sky System that uses 3D volumetric clouds to create immersive visuals. The motorbike physics have also been improved in every aspect, including the interaction between the rider and the bike and different lean-angle speeds for each bike category, all of which contribute to delivering the most authentic and exciting riding simulation ever.

As the first New Gen only Milestone title, it will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic starting August 24.
