Audio suck for some reason, which is probably because of the vibration from the front stem since its not shocked. My other mountain bike with this camera record audio fine.
Riding my Ride1up core 5 through the trails. Trail has a few features like jumps, tree logs, sandy trails, rocky trails, and dirt trails. Has quite a few steep descends.
Core 5 isnt really a trail bike, its for normal urban commute, but it can handle beginner trails very easy, and rides well even without PAS. I had it on 0 for 95% of the time. I had it on PAS 1 for the 5% of the ride that was going up a very steep climb, and seeing what speed I can get on the flat dirt straight.
Having no front shocks was very jarring as expected, my hands were numb from the vibrations lol. The stock Kenda Kwick Seven.5 is ok for dirt and grass, but suck for sand and gravel. I found the tires work better on sand and dirt at 34 psi, I pumped it back to 45 psi for the road. I am going to have to put some kind of knobbies on there for biking off road, but for an all round bike, the tires do ok, its almost like an all season tire for cars.
The disk brakes work great, the compound bites well and doesnt slip. Can lock up the rears and fronts, brakes were adjusted to my ride style.
