Playthrough of the Grand Prix mode with Team Mappy. Ridge Racer Type 4 is my favorite of the ones I've played so far, and I like the way Namco put in a story mode -there are a few different teams you can choose from at the start of the game, and getting first place or not results in different dialogue between races.
Your finishing position also effects the extra cars you'll received throughout the GP. Getting first place on each circuit will result in you getting faster and more powerful cars than you would if you don't. There are a total of 321 cars in the game.
