I want to show this as a good example of hitbox expansion and how it can be bad for a character and potentially good. This in game feature which allows for Invisible Footstooling/Phantom Footstooling also allows for moves to not connect normally, now connect. When a character uses a move such as an attack, special, grab, or anything that doesn't have frames involving intangibility/act as dodging. this explains why a character can footstool a neutral air or this video happens and there are interaction like this. Even a captain falcon hitting a captain falcon on the top platform when both use up smash with spacing (there is a video for reference on YouTube that is searchable).
