Its a game about Purgatory ... if you wanted a mini-review thing... this is a Longplay , cut to be in Five Parts ... the last one is the ending and Extras (but not the happy purgatory thing when you have to find Five times your mother white shadow )
The Long IMO would be : Its a Development Hell game that should have stayed as a PS4 exclusive... not because Sony financed it and later quietly wanted to drop this , when they saw the "Real" continuation to Ico was in trouble (we are talking about "The Last Guardian") from dev hell (optimising a PS3 game Code to run on a PS4 is a Bitch) ... and that "Rime" looks and played INFINITY BETTER then "Last Guardian"
But when the devs , bought back the license rights ... and brought this game to PC (to save it from Sony killing it , to Save the Last Guardian)... it became the last Stand of a PC DRM called DENUVO ... that wanted to show the BIG BOYS of triple A gaming thiers DRM can protect a game ... by putting " 10-30 triggers every second during actual gameplay, slowing the game down. In previous games like [Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3], Nier, Prey there were only about 1-2 'triggers' , every 15 minutes "
Yes , you read that right ... So a crack came removed the DRM (made the game run fluid 60fps in 4K ... then barely 10 fps in 720p... the Denuvo Effect )and the Dev removed the DRM with a patch ... and placed this game on GOG ... but the thing is ... People started to talk shit about the dev ... how they lost theirs credibility by putting NOW ON GOG "So you better wasted $$$K on a DRM that crippled your product, then Optimising it ... and now your begging US to buy in on GOG ... F YOU C#NT"
Welcome to the Denuvo Effect ... same could have been said about the game "Inside" ... but , yeah ... Sheep People
