This is Rimworld brought to us by Ludeon Studios. In this series we'll be jumping into Rimworld Lovecraft Mods without ever playing it before! I do know a little how to play from things I've watched, but as we all know that doesn't really mean a whole lot. Live Episodes will happen once a week, and I will announce when the episode will air as early as possible. Join us and be part of the story!

Rimworld is a strategy game that takes place on a planet at the outer edges of the galaxy. These Rimworlds are like the wild west and even though there is some technology these planets have scattered populations with very loose control maintained by warring factions and organizations. Your game is driven by an AI story teller who controls the events you face and the timing of them to make for a different gameplay experience every time. In Rimworld you will manage your colonists basic needs like food, sleep, disease, and injuries but also more abstract yet still very important needs (like stress and social interactions).

Add in a bit of high tech weaponry and equipment (assuming you are able to learn about and replicate it) and you have this wild west science fiction adventure for a group of survivors you can really get attached to. Manage their jobs, and moods, and liberate or capture others to grow your colony. There will be dangers and events for which you cannot predict, and you must adapt quickly in order to come out on the other side alive.
