Rising Star 2 from Gilligames puts the player in the shoes of a struggling musician trying to make it big. This music industry management sim was released in August 2020 and completely sailed under my radar, so I am diving into it now. Thanks to Colonel Failure's channel for informing me of it!

After the realisation that they are not good enough to sign a recording contract, the band plays until their fingers bleed to build their rep and their skill. Vic, the band manager, quits and is replaced by someone much worse!
