Somebody stole your boyfriends so get out there and beat up everybody and eat lasagna! River City Girls is a beat 'em up with a progression system. But even with its campy style and presentation, major gameplay flaws end up holding it back.

-Regular enemies become a chore to fight and dont give much money
- Lots of backtracking
- Boss enemies are really hard without lots of food in your inventory
- Inventory equipment mostly all sucks.
- Items don't tell you what they do until you buy them.
- Xp is split between player 1 and 2.
