A little bit of history:
RnB music is a genre that combines elements of rhythm and blues, soul, funk, pop, hip hop and dance. It originated in the 1940s as a term for African American music that had a strong beat and used electric instruments. RnB music evolved over the decades, influenced by different styles and artists. Some of the most famous RnB singers include Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Whitney Houston, BeyoncΓ© and Rihanna.
