This is Road Champs: BXS Stunt Biking for the Game Boy Color. It is based on the miniature toy bikes that were sold in stores back in the late 90s and early 2000s. The sad thing is...this game isn't really that well known. There are only a couple gameplay videos and a review of this game by Derek Buck of CGRUndertow. As a result, I thought it would be a good idea to upload a walkthrough of this game since nobody has done one before. This first part covers the training mode.

The game starts off with you having to choose one of 8 different riders to choose from. I don't exactly know who these riders are, but I'm assuming they are the developers of the game. After selecting a rider, you begin the training mode. In this mode, there are over 30 training levels that consist of speed challenges (Where you try and reach the finish line within the time limit), doing specific tricks, getting a high score, and doing a certain number of different tricks. The training mode is very repetitive though. But once you complete it, you unlock the career mode.

Controls in the game are alright, but can be quite unresponsive at times. Sometimes, the game doesn't register a trick or does a different trick than the one you intended to do. It all comes down to button mashing. Despite there being a limited amount of buttons on the Game Boy Color, I like how there are several different tricks you can perform.

All in all, Road Champs: BXS Stunt Biking is a decent extreme sports game for the Game Boy Color. The graphics look nice, the gameplay is decent, and the music is catchy. If you enjoy playing extreme sports games such as Tony Hawk, then you might like Road Champs.
