Road of Fear - Is This Fears to Fathom Clone Worth the Drive? (VHS Horror Gameplay)
What's up, gamers?! You guessed it – we're diving into ANOTHER Fears to Fathom-inspired horror game today: Road of Fear! 🚗 💨 This one's got that familiar VHS horror style we all love, aiming to capture the chilling vibes of the acclaimed franchise. So, does it hit the mark?
In Road of Fear, you play as Ryan, whose chill camping trip with friends Eric and Mark quickly turns into a nightmare. What starts as a fun night around the campfire spirals into a fight for survival as terrifying threats and mysterious figures emerge. The line between reality and nightmare gets blurrier with every moment.
We'll be honest, this game was... okay. We definitely enjoyed our time with it, but be prepared for a lot of driving! 😅 If you're into found footage horror, psychological thrillers, and games with that classic retro horror aesthetic, you might still find some scares here. Can Ryan and his friends uncover the secrets of the forest and make it out alive?
Join us on this long, fear-filled drive through the woods! Let us know in the comments what you think of this Fears to Fathom clone!
