Let's hope that the title Road to Nowhere is an understatement. The game has lots of video sequences and they all look trippy and etherreal in a way, but the story of Cole Bishop is a really bad trip. He is a software developer and currently getting robbed of his reputation online by his ex girlfriend and struggling with other things. The animations could be a bit more lively when you have video for it as a base. The music is really fitting and greatly immerses you, the sfx are also fitting. This is juts a demo to give you a taste, let's see where the road to nowhere finally leads or where nowhere is located in the full game.

Synopsis:
"Road to Nowhere", tells the story of Cohle Bishop – a renowned introvert, and successful software developer – whose life is torn apart by scandal.

Though innocent, he is haunted by personal demons, abandoning his “perfectly adequate” life in hope of finding himself on the open road. Despite the help of his psychologist, Cohle spirals into depression as he moves from town to town – destination nowhere.

Though hounded by painful memories, there is hope at the end of this strange, twisted journey.

Can you help him find his way?

"Road to Nowhere" is an emotionally charged "point-and-click adventure" about betrayal, manipulation, and abuse.

The game is produced by 15BiT GAMES and developed using Powerhoof’s PowerQuest framework.

"Road to Nowhere" has been chosen as a finalist for The Guest Plate award in the NZ Games Festival Pavs Awards 2021.

This solemn tale sports a unique aesthetic, and original dialogue written/ performed by David J. Ross and partnered with the direction and visual flair of developer Dean Thomson.
