In part 2/3 we undergo a big road stage and the first of 2 MTB stages (in Arcadia). First we head to Troutville, up i81 from Roanoke 25min, smash our way along railroad grades and loop back on the parkway for some epic views. Then load up the RV and roll into Jefferson National Forest for two nights of RVing down by the river. We get to wake up and ride MTB's! It doesn't get much better than that! The weather has turned around and it's gorgeous to be outside. The trails are prime from the rain and the legs still feel fresh... for now.
