Actor Robert De Niro says he can't keep up with his soon-to-be-ex-wife's spending or his back taxes.
He and wife Grace Hightower filed for divorce in 2018, but he has continued to support her. De Niro's lawyer says the actor can't keep up with Hightower's spending and recently reduced her monthly credit card limit from $375,000 to $100,000.
The lawyer also said De Niro has to take acting roles to pay for his wife's lifestyle and the $6 million he owes in back taxes.
