I wanted to test my theory that the pyro would give a lot of points from killing zombies with the Molotov cocktails. It's a good thing i did this because I made an important discovery. At the end of the game, if you let the zombies kill you, you can earn skill points. You can use these skill points toward your favorite soldier. In the case of the Pyro, you can increase bonus points, the number of Molotovs, Sprint time and Molotov damage. But, the very disappointing discovery I learned is that the game does not register kills when you kill zombies with cocktails. You only get a lot of points you can use in the game to open doors, buy guns, pap the guns or buy colas. So, the Pyro soldier does not help at all toward skill points.
