RoboCop 2 (1991 - Arcade) | The arcade version is an absolute delight
6Warning: As I mentioned at the beginning, both this Let's Play and the other versions of RoboCop 2 contain spoilers for the second film, as we talk about various scenes, things the game leaves out or changes, and interesting details.
One small detail I noticed after the live stream was that in one level, a bunch of "zombies" appear (actually, they were like mutated people or something) who were exposed to radioactive or toxic material. I said they didn't appear in the films, but the truth is, they did. It refers to ONE PERSON who, in the first film, falls into some waste and ends up transformed into a dying, amorphous creature. They took that to include an entire level with enemies like that in the game for the NEXT MOVIE LOL.
This is one of the latest versions of RoboCop 2, and it's definitely THE BEST and MOST ENJOYABLE.
Gorgeous graphics, super catchy music, and very satisfying gameplay. Plus, even though they stray a bit from the film at times, there are plenty of references, and the way they frame the fight against Cain makes it a treat for those who saw the film.
The Arcade versions are definitely the ultimate for those who want to play the RoboCop games (it's a shame the 3rd doesn't have them, lptm).

Action and shooting game released by Data East in 1991. We control RoboCop fights crime on the streets of Detroit, facing off against gangs, robots, and the powerful cyborg Cain. Combining side-scrolling with first-person shooter segments, the game loosely follows the film's plot, with identical and different settings.
