Found a way to keep the zip going further into the level.
Instructions:

1. Get on the count bomb and take damage.
2. Slide under the second count bomb
3A. Pressing jump once will just be the initial zip we first found and takes you to the next screen
3B. Pressing jump more than once will lock the screen instead of taking you to the next screen. Sometimes this will kill you, probably because you don't do it fast enough and it still counts you as being on top of spikes and your i-frames run out I'm guessing.
4. Hold right and then the screen will go all the way down.
5. The screen will be locked on the screen before the water but you will actually be on the next screen inside the water (notice the splash)
6. Hold a slide to the left to make the screen scroll down. (sliding right will just make you slide right into spikes
7. As the screen is transitioning, press jump to jump out of the floor, because the zip puts you inside the floor. If you don't do it in time, once the screen is done transitioning, you will still be inside and the game will zip you right into the spikes to your death.
