- My original intention for playing this recently was to firsthand compare it to Mega Man, the international version. I didn't see any gameplay difference. I also just felt like going through the first three Mega Man games as an excuse to finally play the third game for the first time. And they're all so short I felt like trying the alternate version.
- No special weapons were used against the bosses until the Wily section.
