More difference in the original & remastered. In fact there's quite a lot of difference in the first 3 Sigma Stages for original and remastered.

"X" will encounter Armoured Armadillo first, and then shortly after, here comes the pain where "X" has to jump on small flying platforms while flying enemies attacks him. This annoying area is the same as the Sigma Stage 1 in the original game, but it has been brought to stage 2 instead.
After that annoying area, "X" will face Storm Eagle again followed by Spark Mandrill. Both bosses should not be a problem by now.
Finally, Sigma will welcome "X" by rolling out the red carpet with a new boss, Rangda Bangda. Rangda Bangda seems to make another appearance in X5 as well. Use Sting Chameleon here to improve chances of hitting those eyes and moving 'nose'. Homing torpedo is also a good choice but the damage inflicted is not as great.
