Red Dead Online is on a lot of platforms, one of them being Stadia. Google Stadia has always been considered the king of cloud gaming. We recently got the news that this streaming service will be shutting down. Google Stadia will be shutting down in January of 2023.

In this video, we're going to be talking about the situation with Stadia and what it means for RDO Stadia players.

Game streaming looked like the future of video games. Games such as Red Dead Redemption 2 became available on Stadia. Gaming seemed like it was going to change. RDR2 is a massively successful game, being able to play this on the web was awesome. Unfortunately, Stadia didn't work as well as Google expected. Whilst RDR2 Stadia still had a loyal player base, it wasn't as popular compared to other platforms. This made a new Red Dead Online update less impressive on Stadia. Of course, Red Dead Online in 2022 is poor but Red Dead Online Stadia was even more dead. But, players such as Colour had put thousands of hours into RDR2 Online. As of right now, this progress will be wiped in January. It's clear that before then, Rockstar Games must implement a cross-progression feature for Red Dead Redemption 2 Online Stadia players. Red Dead Online players have been supporting the Red Dead Redemption 2 Stadia players, protesting to Rockstar. Maybe Red Dead Online is dead with no RDR2 Online update news, but that doesn't mean players shouldn't have the opportunity to play the game. Let's help the Stadia players save their RDO characters! The Red Dead Redemption franchise is massive, and Rockstar is more than capable of saving the Stadia players.
