ROG STRIX SCAR & HERO Laptops - REAL gaming features from ASUS
80Nikki Dean sits down with ASUS' Tom Jenner to look at the latest gaming laptops - the ROG STRIX SCAR and HERO. Both of these laptops are designed specifically for gamers playing esports titles and feature high refresh rate screens with ultra low lag and specially designed keyboards with re-enforced keys. The ROG STRIX SCAR is designed for FPS games like CS:GO and features the NVIDIA GTX 1070 graphics card teamed up with a 144Hz display, while, the ROG STRIX HERO is designed for MOBA games like DOTA2 or league of legends that require a less demanding graphics workload.
High refresh rate displays are proven to offer an advantage when playing competitive esports titles. More frames means that you see more detail, more often, allowing you to react faster and more accurately.
Both laptops also feature a main SSD for fast loading AND a Firecuda Hybrid SSHD drive for fast main storage.
