I didn't really expect to finish the first thread in just two streams. Thought the bosses would be a much bigger grind.

I've decided this series will be "With Caps" since I've decided on a continuing level cap for higher threads (the previous thread's Cain) and also limiting runes to 20 weight or less is a different type of cap. "File 3" will not be in future VoD titles but will continue to be in the playlist name.

It occurs to me the day after recording that maybe the crow that always shoots down from the crow staff is actually aimed and just has a default direction of down. I've been leaving the control stick neutral because the weapon prevents movement. Something to try next time I pick it up.

Maybe even though I clearly don't like the umbrella I'll unlock all the new fabled weapons on this file? Definitely only tried it once. I guess if you space it right you don't go all the way into the enemy, of course. The katana rewarding good spacing with skill crits sounds better than punishing bad spacing with damage, especially considering you're sometimes not given space to work with. Still, weapons that block projectiles are neat: usually you have to spend a cooldown or MP to block projectiles.
