Roguebook (on Steam) Demo First Look

I actually thought this would be a mixture of minesweeper and a card battler. Unfortunately the 'map brushing' feature has no minesweeper characteristics at all. So, I will just look at this as a card battler.
In saying that, I did not like the 'health system' at all. You cannot find or buy heal potions. You cannot camp and rest to regenerate health. What they want you to do is keep fighting until a character is downed, then if you resuscitate them you are handed wound cards. The wound cards then become part of your deck and I have no idea if they can be permanently removed from it in the future or not.
It appears that in the second act of this demo, that coins are removed from the game. I am not sure if I will continue with the remainder of this demo in future videos or not.
