Roguelikes are getting weirder by the day. No game genre has gone through bigger changes in the last decade or so, but thanks to all the experimentation going on, we’ve been getting an unbelievable fountain of great game design. Every month there seems to be a crazy new Roguelike spinoff. No idea is too weird, no game too out there that you can’t stick some Roguelike elements onto it and get something at least halfway decent.
