Rollderdrome gives us a gaming experience that is both action-packed and addictive in which you have to pull a lot of tricks & hits to defeat a whole army of soldiers and robots in each level!
I think a lot of gamers who grew up around the millennium switch would like RollderDrome, this is undoubtedly a great game that is both immensely entertaining and nostalgic, also the appropriate soundtrack in the game ensures that your reflexes are on point!
The plot of Rollerdrome revolves around a future dystopia in which players join the Rollerdrome to fight for a better life.
It's run by an obviously corrupt supercorporation, which you'll slowly learn more about as you play through a backstory.
In each level you will get a series of challenges that you must or can achieve, it is also very clearly described what you have to do,
to unlock new levels you must have achieved a minimum of challenges, so you may get to a point where you will have to replay some levels to get some extra challenges, but that's no problem, playing the same one will never be different unless you train yourself to speedrun the levels, then you would dare to stick to a fixed route.
For this title cel shaded graphics have been chosen with a rather abstract design.
All this together creates a unique taste with its own and new identity.
The fun of Rollerdrome is ultimately in getting a feel for the game. Feeling for the skates, feeling for the weapons, but especially feeling for the different arenas and opponents. Which targets pop up where and when, and most importantly, how do you best defeat which enemy?
you will acquire all the weapons you can use during the first half of the game, it is then up to you to figure out which enemies take the most damage from which weapon, and which weapon works the best and fastest against certain to attack,
you will therefore have to react quickly, decide quickly and, above all, anticipate a lot,
the slow motion in the game is then a perfect tool that not only provides comfort but also great images that you can admire in the middle of the battle.
Rollerdrome is unbelievably cool!
Fast gameplay, cool action, an entertaining gameplay loop, high replay value and a delicious audiovisual sauce make Rollerdrome special.
