Rooten is a Lovecraftian horror game developed by Amortiz Games. It released on September 8, 2021. A man takes a remote job for a week in an outpost in the woods with no form of communication and finds unsettling discoveries.

This turned out to be a way better story than I expected, I really enjoyed it. This was the first horror game in a while that actually reminded me of a genuinely original Lovecraftian story without trying to directly recreate one. I can tell I missed a lot and it was a little drawn out, but not too slow at all. I'm very excited to see what this developer does next.
