Hello everyone, this short video is about creating faces for RPG Maker MV characters, and I create an extra set of faces for a character of mine. Creating a new character's faces is easy, because it's done from scratch, but my characters will have different outfits and stances, so those will require different face sets. And since I had to match most of the faces that's why it took longer. So I presented how to:
- create the face as a process (first few minutes say a few things about my game as well)
- create the directional movement file (technically it is created when you choose the faces and their clothing) :) But it is saved as a separate picture.
- saving that as a json so as to load it later and do changes on that as wanted. Do not forget, upon save to also switch to the correct tab, like if you character is kid or female, you will need to switch to that to see your work progress, since the game load in the first tab by default (which is the male gender). IF YOU DON'T SAVE THE JSON FILE YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR WORK and have to start all over ^^ (this is handled at the end).
