Game #41 is Warsong on Sega Genesis, a Tactical RPG.

This is the first TRPG released outside of Japan, and the first of the Langrisser series (most of the rest of which didn't leave Japan). You control a group of commanders (which can purchase troops to aid them), and go through various scenarios. Each commander can level up and change classes at certain points (in a branching class system).
