It can be a struggle to break into the RPG genre for newcomers if they don't like anime art style or maybe the character tropes that sometimes fill the many hours of your adventure. This is a niche style that I've found to be an actual need out there, non-anime RPGs. Not everyone can look past the surface, hopefully, they will with one of these recommendations for future role-playing games to add to the backlog.
